If you haven’t heard of Day Z, the zombie survival mod for Arma II, then you need to check it out. Pronto. In fact, it just so happens that yours truly will be streaming the game live this Saturday, the 23rd of June at 7:00pm EST. Think you’ve got what it takes?
Well, in all honesty, probably not. The current expected lifespan is just 33 minutes. Day Z ain’t no walk in the park. But it is fun. And tense. Think Walking Dead, but where it actually matters and with less soap opera.
Your only objective in Day Z is to stay alive. You start with a small backpack, a flashlight, and one bandage. You have an area of 255 km to scavenge, but zombies and players aren’t going to make your day a cakewalk.
