Steel Battalion Heavy Armor Demo Hits XBox LIVE

With less than a month away from the release of the new Kinect-enabled Steel Battalion Heavy Armor, the playable demo hits Xbox Live.

After being introduced to your crew members, the demo takes you through the first two levels of the game. Steel Battalion Heavy Armor comes out on June 19th in North America and on June 22nd in Europe.

Players take the role of Sgt. Powers as he joins his crew inside a massive Vertical Tank in a war-torn land where a virus renders all high tech weaponry and equipment useless. Using rudimentary weapons, new superpowers struggle for dominance. Sgt. Powers and his crew must battle to fight off the Chinese occupation.

Watch the video below to see a quick how-to on the basic Kinect movement and gestures. You can also stand at awe on how large this guy’s living room is. Apparently, everyone who has a Kinect owns a large living room. Except for me, that is. It makes me feel like I live in a slum.
