Soundcheck: Grand Theft Auto V: Limited Edition Goes Vinyl This December

Rockstar’s announced a vinyl collection promoting Grand Theft Auto V landing on PS4 , PC, and Xbox One. The collection features 6 records, a booklet, and an exclusive lithograph. Rockstar told us there’s only going to be 5,000 produced.Rockstar’s also going to be releasing the collection in CD form, both vinyl and CD are in collaboration with Mass Appeal Records and will be available on December 9th at most online and physical record stores.

‘The Music of Grand Theft Auto V’ limited edition collections include 59 tracks with original music from A$AP Rocky, Tyler, The Creator, Twin Shadow, Wavves, Flying Lotus, Yeasayer and more. In addition, these limited editions will feature the original score composed by Tangerine Dream, Woody Jackson, The Alchemist + Oh No, mixed by DJ Shadow, along with the other incredible music featured in Grand Theft Auto V.

In even more awesome news, the following DJ’s will be returning to add new radio content to their respective stations: Danny McBride (Duane Earl of Blaine County Talk Radio) and JB Smoove, (Dr. Ray De Angelo Harris of Chakra Attack).

The music nerd in us is stoked for this sweet collection, and even more for the enhanced version of Grand Theft Auto V, landing on PS4 and PC on November 18, and PC on January 27.
