SquareEnix and just released two interesting pieces of artwork for Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3.
Both games were officially announced at this year’s E3 event and both were met with excitement. Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released for the PS4 and XBox One systems. No date has been announced for either game, but we can assume that we’re still about a year away from the final builds.
In a press release, we learn a little bit more of the story for Final Fantasy XV.
The only crystal left to the world lies in the Kingdom of Lucis. Upon striking a peace with the garrison state of Niflheim, Lucis rejoices in having at last brought the cold war to a close. Their celebrations, however, are premature. Under the guise of amity, Niflheim dispels the anti-armament runewall and launches a full-scale invasion of the kingdom. The peaceful lives Crown Prince Noctis and his entourage once knew are consumed by the flames of war as they struggle to mount a resistance.
During July 4 – 7, the Japan Expo will be in full swing where we should learn more about both games as Yoshinori Kitase, Naoki Yoshida, Shinji Hashimoto, and Motomu Toriyama will be attending.
New pictures and information on Kingdom Hearts 3 will be included in the next edition of VJump magazine as mentioned at Famitsu.
