Serious Sam 3: BFE Comes to XBLA

Serious Sam 3: BFE came to XBLA this week in two parts. You can pick up the single player and co-op for 1200 MS Points, as well as the Serious Sam 3 Jewel of the Nile and versus modes come in at another 1200 MS points.

Serious Sam 3 coming to XBLA is a serious salute to golden age of First-person shooters where you went in guns blazing. Remember when there was no cover? That’s right, cover was for sissies and every time you pulled the trigger things blew up. For those of you who need a quick recap, the game takes place as a prequel to Serious Sam: The First Encounter and puts on to Earth as it’s going through it’s final struggle against Mental’s invading armies of beasts and mercenaries. Serious Sam brings you a perfect blend of twitch shooting and modern gameplay, featuring brutal melee attacks, the frantic style of shooting we all know and love, and ties into an intense co-op campaign.

The Jewel of the Nile DLC is set on the Isle of Philae as Serious Sam and his allies attempt to hunt down the guardian of the Temple of Isis. Multiplayer game modes include: Death Match, CTF, Last Team Standing, Beast Hunt and My Burden Plus. Take on selective Co-Op modes like Coin-Op Co-Op or Classic Co-Op if you want that team based action. Duke it out with up to 8 players online or 4 player via split-screen.

Both DLCs are live now on the Xbox Live Arcade for only 1200 MS Points a piece. Check it out today, and be sure to check out the epic launch trailer below.
