Rock and Road This Summer with Ride to Hell: Route 666

In between watching episodes of Sons of Anarchy and fixing up that ol’ chopper you don’t even have, look forward to living out your dreams of feasting on pavement this June with Ride to Hell: Route 666, coming to PlayStation3, Windows PC, and Xbox 360.

The forthcoming release by Dead Island publisher Deep Silver combines elements of action and RTS games, putting you behind the ape hangers and on the road to fend against rivaling biker gangs. Various classes of gang members allow you to hone in on enemies with a combo of brains and brawn, be it by the Leader, the Gunner, the Brawler or the Medic.

The first installation of the Ride to Hell trilogy, Ride to Hell: Route 666 is set in an era reminiscent of the 60s, and historical Route 66 is the battleground for Jack Ride and his gang, the “American Heroes”, against baddie biker “The Headman”.

Later this year there will be two more titles to round out the road trip. Ride to Hell: Retribution features protagonist Jake Conway, a man on a mission to exact revenge against opposing biker game “The Devil’s Hand”. Ride to Hell: Beatdown is described as a “rock ‘n’ roll brawler” apparently coming to the mobile platform, so you can literally take your game on the road. Both sequels are developed by Eutechnyx and Black Forest Games, respectively.

Check out the trailer below, and find more screenshots, artwork, and trailers for Ride to Hell: Route 666 at their official website.
