Resident Evil 5 Returning To PlayStation 4, Xbox One

Capcom is keeping up the Resident Evil remastered streak by announcing that at the end of June, Resident Evil 5 will relaunch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

Resident Evil 5 will be be available on June 28th. This information comes from details found recently on the Xbox One store. Capcom announced back in January that Resident Evil 4, 5 and 6 would be revamped and brought to current gen systems.

Resident Evil 6 re-released back in March, Resident Evil 5 is coming at the end of June and Resident Evil 4 has yet to be given a proper date–we just know it’s coming sometime this Fall.

For the updated Resident Evil 5, all of the DLC previously released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will be packaged alongside the base game. This means the two expansion packs, “Lost In Nightmare” and “Desperate Escape”, The Mercenary United, the versus modes in multiplayer and all of the costume DLC shall be included.

Resident Evil 5 will have improved frame rate and 1080p resolution to give this action-horror title a visual facelift.

When Resident Evil 5 relaunches on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, it’ll be at a retail price of $19.99. Not a bad deal for having the base game and additional content to accompany this title.
