Project CARS 2 Races To PC And Consoles This September

Long time publisher and developer Bandai Namco has announced that Slighty Mad Studios’ racing sequel to 2015’s Project CARS will be available on September 22nd 2017 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. To celebrate this announcement, Bandai Namco and Slighty Mad Studios released the game’s E3 2017 trailer which can be seen above.

Additionally, those lucky enough to attend E3 will be able to get their hands on the demo at booth number 1647. The event’s demo will feature three types of racing: rallycross, road racing and and multi-class.

To provide a more enjoyable and deep experience, Slighty Mad Studios brought a handful of improvements to to Project CARS 2. The game’s Career mode has been tweaked to offer a more sandbox-like approach so players can either start at the bottom with kart racing and drive their way to to the top to a Porsche 911 GT3 R or begin with any of the nine motorsport disciplines from the get-go. Players can tackle either single races or aim for the gold with Championship races; but don’t expect things to be easy as weather will come in and play a factor: rain or fog will have push players to adapt to the conditions.

Racing fans will also be able to enjoy vehicles from the golden age of sports cars straight up to more modern prototypes. The game will also offer a more optimized control scheme with improved vehicle handling and revamped controls which can feel comfortable for players of all skill levels. To provide a more immersive racing experience, the developer recalibrated the A.I. to make it more realistic and provide an adequate challenge for all comers.
