Primeval: New World iOS Game Puts Prehistoric Battles In Your Hands

Fans of the U.K. hit television series spinoff, Primeval: New World, can now hunt down creatures in a portable world of their own thanks to Robots and Pencils newest addition to the App Store. The game of the same name is a side-side scrolling platformer by the same versatile developer  that brought you titles such as Catch the Princess and Spy vs. Spy. You play as the main protagonist in the SPACE channel series, Evan Cross, while traversing action-packed and intricately landscaped settings against dinosaurs and unfamiliar Anomalies.

Compatible with iPhone 4, 5, iPod Touch, and the iPad, players will find the same creatures from the television series in each level, including raptors and fleeting pterodactyls, as final bosses or random enemies to capture and kill. Special objectives and easter eggs contribute to the addictive gameplay, on top of numerous weapon choices and upgrades to unlock. Get the game adaptation sampling of this sci-fi world by watching the short trailer below.

Primeval: New World is available for only $0.99 from the App Store. Click here to download it today. For more information on the developers themselves, head over to the game’s website for specific download requirements and additional gameplay screenshots.
