Press Start: What We Played for Week 31

Welcome fanatics to Press Start! This is a weekly editorial that dives into what we here at The Game Fanatics have been playing. No spoilers on the newer games that we’re playing but we will give you a quick insight on how good or bad it is. Games will range from retro to new, casual to FPS, we play it all!

Charles:

Finished replaying Max Payne 3, and of course also had Civ V and NBA 2K13 on tap as well. New this weekend, I started playing Saints Row IV, yes, I can say that, not much else though, aside from the fact that it is AWESOME.

Jen:

I haven’t been playing much since I’ve been editing my book. As much as I want to play video games, deadlines come first. When I do squeeze in the time to play, I always try to get some SWTOR in. I’ve been playing Bejeweled 3 again to help me fall asleep. I still have two achievements to get in that game. I downloaded Crackdown since it is free this month for XBL gold members. Glad that my old saved game is still on my harddrive. Nothing like randomly blowing up stuff!

Arnell:

I finally beat Project X Zone! I logged in more hours into that game than I thought I would, but I still enjoyed it. Now I’m back to playing EarthBound when I have time.

Jake:

Gonna start up Shin Megami Tensei IV and enjoy that free $30 at the eShop for owning that and Fire Emblem: Awakening.

Joel:

With no PlayStation I have turned to my Vita and my PC. I have jumped into Neverwinter which is quite fun, but not impressive looking, can’t complain because it is pretty solid for a F2P MMORPG. On my Vita I have been playing Persona 4 Golden and await my copy of Dragons Crown which I have heard is amazing!
