PlayStation 4 Pro Will Have Almost 40 Optimized Games at Launch

PlayStation 4 Pro

Sony’s releasing its brand new PlayStation 4 Pro to the world next week and they have just revealed what titles are coming optimized that very same day.

As we mentioned in our latest upcoming games feature, November is bringing two new consoles to the market: the PlayStation 4 Pro and a miniature NES. Take that “new” with a grain of salt since, well, none of them are necessarily “new.” Today we are talking about Sony’s upcoming creation, which is arriving on November 10 and bringing together tons of optimized games.

The European PlayStation Blog has detailed today the names of those 39 titles. Of course these won’t be the only ones and the list will keep on growing as more developers tune in their creations to take advantage of the new technology the PlayStation 4 Pro brings. The post mentions that we will close the year with around six more, including Watch Dogs 2, Killing Floor 2, The Last Guardian and Final Fantasy XV.

The PlayStation 4 Pro comes as the next step in the PlayStation cycle. This high-end model brings a more powerful GPU and faster CPU, better frame rates, 4K quality resolution and High Dynamic Range support. If you do not own a TV that backs either 4K or HDR, the console still offers a stable 1080p resolution for all games. Some of Sony’s partners are also enhancing their apps to match this power so we’ll be seeing 4K support for Netflix and Youtube, among others.

All in all, an interesting addition if you like to be on the cutting-edge side of gaming consoles.
