What We Played for Week Ending January 22

This is a weekly segment where we share what games we are currently playing for our readers to get to know us a bit better. Said games can range from retro to current and from casual to FPS games. If we’re playing it, we’ll share it. Please feel free to comment with what your playing or your opinions on the games that we’re involved with.

Charles: Went back and started playing Dragon Age 2 again, this time as a rouge. Now that I have all the DLC, it’s interesting to see the changes that they bring on, and the far out conversations the new characters have.

Jen: Had an urge to play Bubble Bobble when I was thinking about gaming tattoos. Thankfully I have Bubble Bobble Neo on XBLA. I used to play this game all the time on my NES and in arcade form at a local restaurant when I was younger. I’ve started to watch Glee finally (thanks to Netflix) and that made me want to play some Rock Band 3, which I wouldn’t mind playing with some friends online. There’s also the usual play of SWTOR. I did a flash point on Friday night with my husband and nephew and I don’t want to ruin anything, but it made me say “OMG” a few million times.

Greg: Started playing The Old Republic. My first MMO in a long long time. Finished Bastion with a smile on my face. Started playing Planescape: Torment again, one of my favorite games of all time and one of the best written games of all time.

Crystal: Getting through Saints Row The Third and having a blast. The ridiculousness is perfectly over-the-top.

William: Still going through The Old Republic. Still don’t have really any games I’m working on completing. Still need suggestions.

David: ALL the Battlefield 3‘s! But seriously, it’s been a busy week so that’s all I’ve really had time for.
