Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD Remake Gets A Trailer

Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath, the game Oddworld creator Lorne Lanning says was sabotaged by EA, is in the process of receiving an HD upgrade from UK developer Just Add Water for the PlayStation 3, to be distributed through the PSN. The remake will feature 720p visuals, re-worked dialogue, new easter eggs (presumably similar to Conker: Live and Reloaded), and even support for PlayStation Move.

Negotiations are happening between Lanning, Just Add Water, and Microsoft regarding an Xbox Live version. Originally, the game would have been over the XBLA size limit of 2-GB, but Just Add Water was reportedly able to shrink the game to 1.95 GB.

Stranger’s Wrath was well received upon its 2005 release on the original Xbox console, and the debut trailer, posted below, should be enough to hold you over. Keyword: should.
