New Resident Evil 6 DLC Now Available On PS3

Remember Resident Evil 6? Yeah, that one Capcom game that millions of people bought, but many people found the game to be average at best?Well, no more judgment over here; new multiplayer DLC is now available for the PS3 version of the game.

These multiplayer modes, Onslaught, Predator, and Survivors, are all now available for Sony’s legacy system. Regardless of what the mass amount of gamers say, the game does have quite a bit of content coming its way. In fact, on March 5, Capcom will drop more content to the game: previously released Mercenaries maps. Cool, right? I hope all of you said something along the lines of, “Yeah, this is great news!” And if you didn’t say that, there’s always the next  Resident Evil on the PS4, using Capcom‘s new Panta Rhei graphics engine.

Anyway, back to the DLC news. Here’s a look at the three modes PS3 users are getting:

Onslaught is all about survival; you and an opponent are on different sides of a map. The more zombies you kill in a row, the more the other person has to fight. Think Puzzle Fighter but almost completely different.

Predator teams five humans up against one Ustanak. Fight to stay alive until the end of the round.

Survivors is a Resident Evil 6 twist on your standard team deathmatch; when you die, your character comes back as a zombie. Last human or team standing wins.

The three new modes are available for $3.99 each in the PlayStation Store.
