Naughty Dog Announces Regular Twitch Streams

For anybody who followed the Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Beta streams, or those just looking for a little Uncharted fix; you’ll be happy to hear that Developers at Naughty Dog are planning to  provide regular broadcasts on their Twitch channel.Following their popular Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Beta broadcasts last month, Naughty Dog  announced that they will be providing regular streams on Twitch throughout the year.

Naughty Dog is looking to provide broadcasts at least two times a month and will feature a range of guests and content, however, the only content announced so far is from the Uncharted series.

Their first stream took place in late 2014 and their Twitch channel currently has 12 previous streams available and over 13 thousand followers. Their primary focus was “Gaming with the Dogs” highlighting The Last of Us Multiplayer and Uncharted highlights. However, their new regular streaming series will kick off from next week, Tuesday the 12th of January and will start at 7:30 PM UTC (1:30PM CST).

The first broadcast will feature a speedrun of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune from the PS4 version of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.

A spokesperson from Naughty Dog announced:

[blockquote right=”pull-right”]“We’ve got some very good, highly competitive speedrunners amongst us at Naughty Dog, and they’re going to do their best to rise to the challenge and set a solid speedrun time live during our broadcast. I wouldn’t miss out on this.”[/blockquote]

What we can gather from this is that there may be competitive elements placed into the streams where developers try to beat one another’s scores. We may find out which dev knows their games best.

This announcement follows news that the final installment of the Uncharted franchise, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been delayed until April 26th of this year. To find out why you can visit one of our previous articles.

Naughty Dog has said that they will be announcing upcoming broadcasts in advance for viewers to get tuned in. They will be broadcasting via their Twitch channel which can be found here.
