Naruto Powerful Shippuden Screens Ninja Their Way into the Open

Everyone’s favorite ninja is back on the 3DS in Naruto Powerful Shippuden! Ok, so maybe he’s not everyone’s favorite but he’s still a ninja.

Well, either way, we have some brand new screens for the upcoming Naruto 3DS title. In Naruto Powerful Shippuden (they are really running out of names aren’t they?) you can battle all your favorite characters in a 2d fight to the death.

Although you’ll only get to choose from Naruto and Rock Lee to complete various missions or take on the endless battle mode. I can only assume that mode is endless but that’s just a hunch.

In these screens we get to see cute little chibi Naruto and Rock Lee beating the crap out well-known characters as well as some grunts. It’s lighthearted and a bit silly but looks to be a fun 2d arcade style fighter. It might not be the handheld Naruto game fans were waiting for but it will at least be something to tide people over.

Naruto Powerful Shippuden is set to release exclusively on March 5th for the Nintendo 3DS.

And hey, just because I like you guys I’m going to put the trailer right here, believe it!:
