Left 4 Dead 3 Outed on Dota 2 Tour

Excited for another Left 4 Dead? A leak says that Left 4 Dead 3 might be on its way. According to a photo allegedly snapped by a member of a Dota 2 subreddit tour group, a Valve developer’s monitor in the company office has proof that another in the Left 4 Dead series is in the works.

The Source 2 engine, the successor to Valve’s current Source enginge, was confirmed back in November by Valve co-founder Gabe Newell during a 4chan Q&A. The taken image, provided that it is real, is a proverbial goldmine for fans of the series. While many game leaks tease logos and things for titles never released, this image explicitly names the game and engine, and has developer notes.
