Jump On October 2019’s PlayStation Plus Games

PlayStation Plus

With less than a week left until Halloween, there are still some games you can’t forget to download before October is over. Let’s take a look what we have this month for PlayStation Plus members.

The Last of Us Remastered

First up, we have The Last of Us Remastered. With the announcement of Naughty Dog’s next anticipated chapter, The Last of Us II was originally supposed to be released in late February. As we all know, you can’t rush perfection. Pushed back to be released in May 2020, in the meantime, experience the epic journey as you follow Joel and Ellie from the beginning.

Whether this is your first time playing through or reliving the story, The Last of Us takes place 20 years after a pandemic has changed everything about civilization as we know it. Humans that are infected are running wild and you encounter other survivors that will do anything for their group to scavenge food, weapons or anything else they can get their hands on.

Meet Joel, a survivor, who is hired to transport Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of a tough military quarantine zone. What starts to be a small job becomes a long and brutal journey across the U.S. for the both of them. Don’t miss out on your chance playing this game before the next chapter arrives.

MLB The Show 19

Next up, we have MLB The Show 19. Get your hands on this popular baseball franchise that is brought to you by San Diego Studio. Now is your chance to relive the biggest MLB moments in history. Take advantage of the new mode Moments, where you can recreate the most famous plays from the past and present. For instance, Babe Ruth calling his own shot, anyone?

If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, speed-up full seasons from March to October. This enables you to play the most biggest and thrilling games to focus on getting your team ready for the postseason within less time. If that isn’t exciting enough, you could create your own MLB player and play through ranks with Road to the Show or against others as baseball’s greatest legends in Diamond Dynasty.

There will also be new content dropping this October for this sports title, which includes the legendary Ted Williams, one of the greatest players of all time. Also, what’s a game without rewards to unlock while reliving the greatest moments in history from the past and present? Don’t wait to get your hands on this sports franchise!

That’s all, Fanatics. This wraps up October 2019’s free PlayStation Plus games. Which games are you downloading before they are no longer available? Sound off in the comments below, and we’ll see you for November’s lineup!
