HyperX Debuts New Cloud Revolver S Gaming Headset | CES 2017

HyperX Cloud Revolver S

HyperX has built a name for itself in producing high end peripherals at relatively low costs. Hoping to capitalize on that is the HyperX Cloud Revolver S headset.

The headset features a unique USB dongle that adds Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound without the need for any additional software. While other headsets offer similar sound quality, they typically start out at a much higher price point than the very affordable $150 price for the HyperX Cloud Revolver S.

In a statement HyperX’s Tyler Needles said, “The HyperX Cloud Revolver S headset delivers one-click premium sound, premium performance, and premium comfort to pro gamers. Simply plug it in and one click later, Dolby quality sound is instantly on. Game, watch movies, or listen to music with Cloud Revolver S to immerse yourself in cinema quality audio.”

In addition to the surround sound, the Revolver S also comes with 50mm drivers, closed-back cups for sound isolation, and a noise cancelling mic. The HyperX Cloud Revolver S will be available in March.
