Haul the Moonshine! Shine Runner Launches Today on Mobile Devices

Indie developer Vector Unit has announced a December 2nd release date for their newest iOS/Android title, Shine Runner. The game slots into the ultra-niche “water racing/action/strategy” genre and challenges players to smuggle lucrative contraband goods while piloting high-speed flat-bottomed fan boats.

The action takes place in fully destructible 3D river environments, with players being able to smash through all manner of redneck themed scenery- chicken coops and all. It’s not all about wanton destruction though, as you’re also given the chance to visit merchants in-between races to trade items and maximize profits; assuming of course, that you can outrun the aggressive cops first. Shine Runner also touts leaderboard, Open Feint and Game Centre support, so you can achieve while you smuggle.

If you fancy playing redneck for the day, then you can pick up Shine Runner on Friday, December 2nd for iphone, ipad and Android devices.
