Happy Valentine's Day From Dungeon Defenders

To celebrate one million downloads, Dungeon Defenders developer Trendy Entertainment is expressing their love for their Steam players in the form of a free Valentine’s Day themed mission, character costumes and pets for a limited time.

Since its launch in mid-October, Dungeon Defenders’ blend of action-RPG and classic tower defense elements has wooed enough players to sell over one million units across all three platforms (Steam, Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network), making it one of the fastest selling downloadable games of all time.

According to the official press release from the title’s publisher Reverb Publishing, players that log in to the Steam version of the game will be able to download the “Sky O’ Love” challenge mission where they get to play “matchmaker” for “boy” and “girl” mobs of the same species. The new content also includes a redesigned tavern, new outfits for all four heroes and a unique cupid pet.

In addition, the iOS title Dungeon Defenders: Second Wave will be on sale for a mere $0.99.

Dungeon Defenders is available from Xbox Live Arcade for 1200 Microsoft Points, and on PlayStation Network and Steam for $14.99. For more info on the game (as well as a brand new Valentine’s Day themed wallpaper) check out the official site at: www.dungeondefenders.com
