GRIM.exe Blasts Its Way to Paragon

Epic Games has announced a new character for its MOBA, Paragon: GRIM.exe. Check out the new trailer here.

GRIM.exe is a ranger who controls a sentry robot. The sleek looking machine is equipped with a massive energy source in the center of its chest and delvers devastating blows to its opponents with a pulse cannon. It can slow down enemy movement or even knock them backwards with a shield. With these abilities, there are several strategies at GRIM.exe’s disposal.

Check out the character trailer to see it in action. The trailer features GRIM.exe blocking projectiles with its shield and using its cannon to decimate its foes. Perhaps, GRIM.exe’s most interesting feature is it’s ultimate move: the Gyro Targeted Force Orb. The attack locks onto a target and fires a honing projectile that can move through objects. The trailer displays all of these feats, while reminding players to “battle responsibly.”

GRIM.exe will ready to use on May 10th of this year for paid early access players. To participate in the paid early access program, for PC and PlayStation 4, you need to head over to the Paragon website and purchase a founders pack. This will allow you to play with a handful of heroes and, based on which founders pack you buy, an exclusive skin.

There are plans for a free open beta happening this summer. So, If you don’t feel like buying a founders pack just yet, you can always sign up for the upcoming beta instead. Remember to link your PSN account to your Epic Games account if you want to play on PlayStation 4.

Paragon is a third person MOBA being developed by Epic Games. It is designed for players to participate without having to spend any money. All the heroes will be free to use, and extras, like cards, can only be earned by playing the game.
