Get Ready for Dishonored 2 with Its Thrilling Launch Trailer

Dishonored 2

Dishonored 2 is arriving to stores this Friday and Bethesda wants you to plunge directly into the action with their launch trailer. Check it out!

Two thrilling minutes is what we are getting today from Bethesda’s Youtube page. The official release of Dishonored 2 is happening on Friday and there’s nothing better to commemorate this than with a launch trailer. This one ventures more into the intricacies of the plot and sees Emily loses her throne to a dark woman, Delila Kaldwin. We also get some nice glimpses of gameplay (new superpowers included) and meet again the Outsider.

Dishonored 2 is launching worldwide on November 11 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. If you wish to play it in Early Access (one day before everyone else), you can pre-order the game right now. On top of that, you will receive a free digital copy of Dishonored: Definitive Edition, which features all its add-on content.

Dishonored 2: A Story of Betrayal and Retaliation

In this sequel, we resume the story as we left it with the first game. Emily Kaldwin has been reigning over the Empire for 15 years, alternating her ruling responsibilities with combat training, courtesy of her father, Corvo Attano. However, chaos lurks around the corner and the years of relative peace are over. By the beginning of Dishonored 2, we’ll assist to Emily’s dethronement in the hands of an usurper. The game will follow both Corvo and Emily as they roam the blooming city of Karnaka, trying to restore her power back. What boundaries we will dare to cross and at what cost is something we’ll need to discover as we play.

Although the story revolves clearly around Emily this time, both her and Corvo are playable characters. This sequel is bringing a skill tree with different specializations and upgrades plus a revamped Chaos system that drinks from and impacts the world around our character. On top of that, there are also more ways to finish up missions. Now you can follow the steps of the swiftest assassin and complete the game in stealth mode. Or you can go full rampage and indulge in some bloody baths. The choice is yours.
