Gamescom 2012 | Killzone: Mercenary Announced For PlayStation Vita

The PlayStation Vita (PS Vita) has declined in sales because of a lack of games. However, all of that looks to change after the recent announcement at this year’s GamesCom. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) will be bringing Killzone to the PS Vita, but not a port, a brand new entry to the franchise called Killzone: Mercenary.

Killzone: Mercenary, is a first-person shooter that will give gamers a fresh perspective on the conflict between ISA and Helghast for the first time. Unlike the console iteration of Killzone, you’ll be fighting along both parties carrying out missions that neither faction’s solders wish to take on.

Killzone: Mercenary is slated for a 2013 release.
