Gamers Unite and Help Bring Illo to Life in this Interesting Kickstarter

This day and age it seems that everyone turns to Kickstarter for funding; whether it’s a project, a fundraiser, or a campaign, Kickstarter has become one of the most popular sources used to raise funds and awareness.  Today we’re going to introduce you to illo, one of the cutest “blobs” you’ll probably ever see, and with your help, you as a gamer can contribute and help bring illo to life.

Surrounded and inspired by cartoons and art for most of his life, Disney’s premier Italian voice actor, Luca Eliani, created illo in hopes of conveying his perspective on life in a colorful, fun, and exciting way for other’s to enjoy.  Shortly after Luca’s concept and sketches were noticed, the team at Raylight Studios in Italy decided they wanted to bring Luca’s vision to life.

“As soon as we saw Luca’s amazing artwork we were immediately hooked. The concept of illo is something we’ve never seen before in videogames and because of that we’re going to reproduce Luca’s vision exactly. This will be a challenging but very exciting project.”– Massi Di Monda, CEO of Raylight

You’re probably wondering “well, how does Kickstarter fit in with all of this?”  Luca and Massi (Raylight CEO), thought it would be cool for gamers and those interested in illo to come together and make this project happen.  They wanted you/me/us to invest in their vision and take the journey with them.  Check out a few images of illo‘s wonderful, magical world below:

Be sure to check out the official Kickstarter for illo and the gang.  There you will find all of the details on illo and how your contributions can make a difference.  You’ll also find information on Luca, Raylight Studios, an FAQ, and details on rewards for your donations!  Today (Tuesday, October 30th 2012) kicks off the beginning of illo‘s journey to mobile devices everywhere, and will end on December 3rd 2012.  Stay connected with illo on Twitter, Facebook, and the official website where you can order some awesome illo gear!
