While retail games usually have the tendency to release on separate days within the United States and Europe, Bethesda has officially announced that The Evil Within will be launching in Europe on October 14th, 2014. This ensures players will experience the new survival horror title simultaneously worldwide.
Shinji Mikami, who is arguably the father of survival horror, claims The Evil Within promises fans of the genre an unmatched experience this Fall. Developed by his team Tango Entertainment and published by none other than Bethesda Softworks, The Evil Within places players in the shoes of Sebastian Castellanos, as he undergoes a murderous and nightmarish investigation that soon unravels all hell.
