ELEAGUE’S Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Major Championship To Be Held in Atlanta

Do you like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive? Are you a fan of esports? Would you watch a Major Championship? Could you enjoy being in a beautiful venue with tons of other fans screaming your heart out because you’re just so freaking into the match? If you answered yes to any or all of the above questions perhaps you should keep reading this article.

The 10th Major Championship in the lifespan of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is coming up early next year, and the first details of its television broadcast and physical location have been released. While 16 teams of ranked and challenger status will fight their way through qualifiers. The Major Qualifier will be on December 15-18, live in Atlanta and on Twitch. The Championship itself will take place January 22-29, also in Atlanta at the Historic Fox Theatre.ELEAGUE Theatre

On the line is bragging rights, the title of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Major Champion, and a very lovely slice of a one million dollar prize pool. Everything will be found on the ELEAGUE Twitch channel, and the Grand Final will stream on TBS and Twitch.

Event coverage begins January 22nd-25th, with the Fox Theatre hosting January 27th-29th. Finally, you will be able to watch from the comfort of your own home, with no pants, on their Twitch Channel or on TBS.
