EA Taking Over Star Wars: The Old Republic?

Gamers and fans of Star Wars have been patiently waiting for the Old Republic MMO to be released. Especially those who played Knights of the Old Republic and wish to see all the events and stories that happened due to a result of the actions that took place during those two games.

It seems whatever EA gets their hands on, they hold onto it very tightly. In this case, EA is taking over all publishing duties of The Old Republic. A lot of that responsibility was under LucasArts care but now EA is taking over, fully.

Hopefully this won’t change much with this MMO. It seems EA just wants everything “under one roof”.

Check out Joysitq as they got to speak with the co-founder of Bioware.
