EA Play Joins Xbox Game Pass on PC- For a Price

For a few years now, Xbox Game Pass has been one of the best deals in gaming. 5 USD per month gets you over 100 games available to download and play on PC, or 10 USD per month gets you the Xbox One version. 15 USD per month gets you both PC and Xbox access, as well as Xbox Live Gold. Any option is a fantastic deal and an incredibly easy way to add to your selection of games. Now, EA Play is joining Game Pass. Announced on September 9th, 2020, the two game services will begin collaborating sometime this holiday season. The announcement did not give much detailed information, but what we do know is that Game Pass owners will get access to EA Play soon, which will add over 60 additional games to the 100 plus already offered.

The announcement on the official Xbox news site stated that these two services will merge at no additional cost. Game Pass owners will get to play EA Play games as well, without having to pay an additional fee to access the new games. However, depending on your outlook, this may be somewhat unfortunate for Game Pass on PC owners. Owners of the Xbox One version of Game Pass will be getting the new games without a price change; PC owners will have to pay an additional 5 USD per month to stay members. If you don’t care about the EA games on PC, you’re out of luck: 10 USD per month is the new minimum. Regardless, such a low price for 160 plus games is still an incredible deal. And, if you are a new member, you can currently get the first month for 1 USD.
