New Dishonored 2 Update Adds New Difficulty Setting, Mission Select

dishonored 2

Bethesda has released a new free content update for Dishonored 2. This new update adds a handful of new content.

The first addition to the game is the possibility to tailor your experience thanks to Custom Difficulty settings. This allows players to fine-tune their experience as they can choose among 20 customizable sliders such as the effectiveness of Sleep Darts and other weapons and powers used by Corvo and Emily. If that’s not enough, those who have mastered the game since it’s release can now choose Iron Mode. What makes it so difficult? Screw up and your character is dead. Permanently.

Additionally, players now have the freedom to select and replay any cleared missions thanks to the Mission Select option. Having a hard time with certain chapters? Select and replay them whenever you want to hone your skills. For the perfectionist gamers, it’ll allow you to practice a Ghost and/or Clean Hands run that involves being undetected or not killing anyone or both.

Dishonored 2 released last year for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and has DLC on the way for later this year. The sequel racked up over 100 Best Of 2016 Awards, and you can read our review here.
