Discover the Winners of the First Ever Steam Awards

Steam Awards

Valve has just released the list of winners of their amusing Steam Awards. Check them out!

Last November Valve announced a rather curious initiative: the Steam Awards. Members of the Steam community could cast their votes for their favorite games – albeit, not following the traditional ranking you may expect. The Steam Awards were created with a funky and comical touch and had an original, yet familiar, rank of categories.

These included, for instance, “I’m Not Crying, There’s Something In My Eye”, “Just 5 More Minutes”, or even the “Villain Most In Need Of A Hug” one. Without a doubt, categories that better fit the thoughts of all gamers out there.

The Valve community could vote between December 22 and January 2. It has taken not too long for the Steam team to release the final list of winners. And let us tell you, there is room for surprise on these ones as well. Who would have thought that Euro Truck Simulator 2 may be on a par with GTA 5 in best scoring?
