Debut Issues of Mind the Gap and Epic Kill Get Second Printings

Image Comics has sold out of the first issues of both Mind the Gap and Epic Kill at the distribution level after both books just released on May 2. Second printings of both issues are now in production and are set to be available in stores on May 23.

Mind the Gap, by Jim McCann, Rodin Esquejo and Sonia Oback centers around Elle Petersen, left comatose after an attempt on her life, but now able to project her consciousness between the realm of the living and another realm called “The Garden”. “The entire Mind the Gap team is so thankful for the support and love the fans and retailers have given us!” said McCann. “Word is spreading, and we’re thrilled that more people will be able to dive into the mystery of Mind the Gap!”

Epic Kill by Raffaele Ienco is set to take place over five issues telling the tale of a trained assassin with amnesia named Song as she unravels the mystery of her past.

Epic Kill #1 was released today and blam! it’s already time to do a second print!?  What!?” said an almost-disbelieving Ienco. “Retailers have tweeted the book is a hot item and reviews have been awesome; fans dig it – all of which I am very grateful! I would love to give the world more Epic Kill!”

Second printings of both Mind the Gap #1 and Epic Kill #1 are now both available for order through Diamond Comics. Also, due to a traffic accident involving one of Diamond’s trucks, copies of Mind the Gap #1 will not be available until May 9 at some retailers in the Eastern United States.
