Team NINJA has announced some new features that will be included in Dead of Alive 5 Ultimate. Among the new set of features will be online tag mode, new ranking systems, and over 200 costumes.
Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate will introduce 2 vs. 2 online tag team mode for the first time ever in Dead or Alive. Players will be able to team up with a friend and do some tag team 2 vs. 2 matches online due to the high demand from DOA fans around the world.
Dead or Alive Ultimate will also include the new “Prize Fighter” ranking system for the super competitive players. The rankings will fall under four different categories: Bronze Fighter , Silver Fighter, Gold Fighter, and Platinum Fighter. Prize fighters will earn extra points with the Grade Point system to use toward earning up to Grade U to S+.
There will also be a new point system introduced called Character Points. Character Points will display the level of the player’s skill with one another . Character Points will also allow player to see if a competitor is using their best character and their world ranking as well.
There have also been some online mode enhancements made pertaining to gameplay, smoother experiences online, and cutting times to match searches for both ranked and unranked.
Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate will be releasing on September 3, 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360.
