Dark Souls III Presents The Ringed City DLC In Apocalyptic Trailer

The second and final expansion for the deadly Dark Souls III is coming; Dark Souls III: The Ringed City releases on March 30th for PS4, Xbox One, and Steam.

The first DLC was Ashes of Ariandel, which took the adventure to the snowed landscapes of Ariandel, adding both new items and magic. Now, the cold is replaced with ruins and ashes of a dying setting in the final stages of the Age of Fire.

What The Ringed City Brings to Dark Souls III

On the trailer released by Bandai Namco Games today, the end of the world is presented as the infamous Ringed City. Players will embark on a journey, surely as punishing as always, to find the Slave Knight Gael as he searches for the Dark Soul of Humanity; their path will be filled with ancient beasts and their crumbling homes. The world’s flame is burning out, we can see many scenes with decaying structures.

Pieces of a glorious past, scattered around like rubbish or floating with some remaining pride. Nothing seems to escape the dark atmosphere that dominates since the first Dark Souls, even entire castles sit destroyed in the floating islands. On its most threatening state, Dark Souls III: The Ringed City brings a daring finale to the title; we can’t expect nothing but a madness infused challenge, full of corrupt and forgotten enemies.

Dark Souls III The Ringed City DLC

Director of Brand and Latin American Marketing for Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc Jason Enos described Dark Souls III: The Ringed City’s boss fights as nail biting ones that’ll leave players breathless asking for more. The creatures haunting the trailer live up to the expectations. Hollowed beasts and blazing gigantic demons might prove once more that Dark Souls wants you to see the death screen a few times before giving you the win. As well as some new characters joining the cause, inevitably corrupted by the insanity of this place.

Dark Souls III: The Ringed City  digital copy will be available for $14.99, with a two-day early download on March 28th.
