Hot off the heels of officially announcing the latest in the Crysis series, Crytek has released a demo video showcasing what the latest build of CryENGINE 3 is capable of.
There’s quite frankly no words to describe the power of CryENGINE 3 SDK 3.4.0, which is available as a free download as well. Thanks in part to Direct X 11, the true stars of the latest engine build are advanced tessellation, something that particularly shows up as they display stone ruins with extravagant detail, and both lighting and shadow techniques that will surely be featured in Crysis 3 to help create more of an atmospheric environment in the tropical jungle of New York City.
