Capcom Announces "Vergil's Downfall" Bonus DLC For DmC: Devil May Cry Pre-Orders

Those who pre-order DmC will be getting bonus content featuring Vergil, Dante’s brother.

Capcom announced today via press release that those who pre-order DmC: Devil May Cry at North American GameStop or EB Canada locations will get free access to Vergil’s Downfall, a set of downloadable content focusing on Vergil, the twin brother of main character Dante. It features an additional storyline to play through, as well as new weapons, combos, enemies, and locations.

The DLC will hit the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live “shortly after launch,” according to the release, for $8.99 and 720 MS Points respectively… if you take advantage of the pre-order offer, you’ll get a code to download it for free once that happens. The game itself launches on January 15, 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360, with Capcom promising a PC release “shortly after.” Check out the trailer below.
