Burial at Sea DLC Returns Players to Rapture this Holiday Season

Burial at Sea will take players down from the skies of Bioshock Infinite and head down to the depths of the ocean and return to the city of Rapture.Burial at Sea is the first part of the two part DLC series where players can witness what Rapture was like before all hell broke loose in the first two Bioshock games.

In a recent Joystiq interview, studio head Ken Levine stated that Burial at Sea Episode 1 should be out “before the holiday.” The release date for episode two is not as certain, however. Leonie Manshadan, Irrational Games‘ Director of Marketing, said, “It’s not done yet, we don’t have a date yet.”

Burial at Sea Episode 1 will be played with Bioshock Infinite‘s Booker Dweitt. According to Irrational Games, Burial at Sea Episode 2 will allow players to walk a mile in Elizabeth’s shoes as they play the game from her perspective.

Burial at Sea Episodes 1 and 2 will be available as standalone downloads for $14.99 each, or will also be included as part of the Bioshock Infinite Season Pass.
