Bungie's Destiny Beta Announcement, Trailer, and Box Art Revealed

Activision and Bungie have announced Destiny‘s beta details, along with a new trailer, “The Moon”,  and reveal box art for their upcoming blockbuster.

Activision and Bungie have announced details for Destiny‘s upcoming beta. Gamers that have pre-ordered Destiny for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 will have early access to the beta for Destiny in early 2014. Redemption codes for the Destiny beta are available from participating global retailers printed on the receipt, flyer distributed at the time of purchase, or sent through email from the retailer. Gamers not sure if they qualify for the beta should ask the retailer where pre-order was purchased.

Bungie‘s president, Harold Ryan said,

Destiny is the most ambitious game we have ever made, and it’s our chance to transform the way you experience a new Bungie universe. From day one Destiny has been an incredibly bold vision that Activision shares with Bungie. Destiny is a massive universe that is populated by the players, and for that reason we need fans to get their hands on the game, fans all around the world. We cant wait!”

Along with the announcement Bungie has released a new trailer, “The Moon”, showcasing the Hive, one of the four enemy races and a new destination for adventurers. Find “The Moon” trailer for Destiny here:

Destiny‘s box art has also been revealed containing the three main classes of the game holding guns with a familiar backdrop the moon in the distance.
