Beats by Dre Go Wireless

A recent FCC filing on behalf of Dr. Dre’s Monster Beats introduced a new headset dubbed Beats Wireless. This of course comes shortly after HTC’s announced interest in the company, making this the first product to be launched after the smartphone giant spent a whopping $300m for a majority stake in the company.

The Wireless Beats look like your run-of-the-mill Beats, featuring its trademarked unibody construction. It will be connected to devices via Bluetooth, with full controls and a mic on the right headphone.

No doubt HTC is aiming to make the Wireless Beats a perfect companion to their Beats enabled smartphones and devices, yet the quality of the new headset still stands to prove itself among a generation of impeccable audio equipment.

No official word on pricing or release schedule has been announced yet “Chances are though, they’re going to be stupid expensive and launch sometime before the holiday spending madness starts.”
