Battlefield 4's Final Stand DLC Teases Fans

“We are ready to start talking about Battlefield 4: Final Stand…” reads the latest update from DICE on Battlefield 4‘s official blog. If this is any indication of newsworthy excitement, it’s that Final Stand, the game’s fifth and final downloadable expansion pack is on the verge of release.

We’ve revisited fan-favorite Battlefield 3 maps in the Second Assault add-on. We’ve ventured across the globe and explored exotic locales in the China Rising add-on. The South China Sea delivered hours of naval warfare in the Naval Strike add-on. We’ve even brought the fight to urban streets and high-rises through the Dragon’s Teeth add-on. So what exactly does DICE have left for us to experience when Final Stand releases later this Fall?

Well, according to the official website, Final Stand sees players duke it out across frozen Russian landscapes in four new maps: Operation Whiteout, Hammerhead, Giants of Karelia, and Hanger 21. In addition to these new battlefields, the expansion pack also promises players “high-tech prototype weapons, gadgets and vehicles” that will surely make an impact on the Battlefield 4 experience.

Battlefield 4’s Final Stand DLC is expected to launch before the end of this year so keep your eyes peeled for a proper release date. Oh, and remember, Premium members will receive Final Stand two weeks early!
