Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Trailer Revealed Along With Xbox One and PC Versions

Bandai Namco announced that they plan on bringing Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown to PC and Xbox One along with the previously announced PS4 version.

This new chapter in the long running arial combat franchise has been developed with Unreal Engine 4 and trueSKY technology which allows Bandai Namco to get the most out of the current hardware in order to provide intense dogfighting affairs through fully rendered clouds and photorealistic visuals.

The game promises an immersive story campaign along with intense online multiplayer action. The same writer behind Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies and Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War, Sunao Katabuchi, is back at the helm to pen the story for Skies Unknown.

Here’s what Eric Hartness, Vice President of Marketing at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc., had to say about this new announcement:

We’re excited to announce our plans to bring the battle for air superiority in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown to Xbox One and STEAM. With over 20 years of franchise history; ACE COMBAT 7: Skies Unknown continues to deliver authentic yet accessible flight combat action to gamers around the world. This latest version of the game delivers amazing visuals and intense gameplay, all wrapped in a unique and compelling storyline. We look forward to seeing players suit up, strap in, and take their place as ace pilots.

No solid release date has been set for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, however it is still currently scheduled for a 2017 release.
