You can now add Dishonored to the likes of The Elder Scrolls and Fallout. With a report that sales of Dishonored are “exceeding expectations,” Bethesda representative Pete Hines confirms that the first-person stealth/action/command rats to murder your enemies game will be more than just a standalone title.
Dishonored is far exceeding our sales expectations, which is especially cool considering it’s new IP facing a host of well-established franchises this quarter… We clearly have a new franchise.
Not very surprising, as critics absolutely loved Dishonored, and the soon to come DLC will surely get some fans who’ve already finished the game to reinvest their time and interest, as well as keep the new fans – some of whom took advantage of all the Black Friday sales to pick it up for as low as $25 – playing.
Dishonored is available for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. If you’ve yet to play it, then what are you waiting for?
