Gears of War: Judgement Early Access

Get Early Access to Gears of War: Judgment OverRun Mode Through GameStop Pre-Order

Today, GameStop, Microsoft and Epic Games announced that fans across the United States will be able to obtain early access to the new OverRun Mode, to join the fight against the Locust Horde! Early access on Xbox LIVE will begin on March 15th exclusively for those who are GameStop PowerUp Rewards™ members that preorder GoW:Judgement online or at any local GameStop nationwide. The demo itself for Judgement will be accessible to all Xbox LIVE Gold members on March 19th.

“Early Access” itself will being on friday, March 15th at 1:589 p.m. PT to Monday, March 18th at 11:59 p.m. PT for those of you who are PowerUpRewards members that preorder from Gamestop.

That’s not all though! As an additional bonus, multiplayer XP earned will carry over to the final version of the game for players that purchase Judgement within it’s first week following it’s U.S. release, allowing players to get the jump on unlocking special rewards, new weapon skins, medals and achievements.

OverRun is  a new class-based competitive mode that throws Locust and COG soldiers in a head-to-head battle that all “Gears” fans have yet to experience. As an objective-based mode, five player teams alternate between playing as Locusts and COG soldiers and is officially the first class-based competitive mode being introduced into any Gears of War title.

On top of the early access, fans who preorder will also receive two exclusive bonuses for use in multiplayer modes.

“Young Marcus” Character Skin – Decorated war hero Marcus Fenix is the legendary leader of Delta Squad, a small group of COG soldiers responsible for saving mankind from destruction at the hands of Locust and Lambent forces.  This exclusive character skin takes Marcus back in time, six weeks after the end of the Pendulum Wars, and during the chaos of Emergence Day – a time before he was hardened by his long imprisonment.

Lambent weapon skin – This exclusive weapon skin lets you show off your grub-slaying exploits and customize select weapons with the emulsion of your fallen Lambent foes.

Additionally, everyone who preorders from any retailer worldwide will receive the Classic Hammerbust, one of the most effective weapons that served as the standard issue rifles for the Locust Horde.
