Review
The Arrival is the final downloadable content for Mass Effect 2, which originally came out in January of last year. This action RPG from the minds over at Bioware has taken us on one great ride and with this DLC, it’s no exception.
The hardest part about this DLC is picking which character to play as. Sure, I can play this DLC over and over again to cover all of my characters but I want to make sure that the character that I carry over to Mass Effect 3, is the right one. This is, of course, assuming that I can transfer all of my information from ME2 to ME3, but we all know that Bioware will have that feature and if they don’t, heads will roll.
After finding the right Shepard to use for this DLC, I head to the computer on the Normandy to start the DLC. Admiral Hackett returns and has a mission for Shepard. A deep cover operative has been taken captive by Batarians and she has important information on a Reaper invasion. This mission requires Shepard to go into this battle alone, which makes this DLC even more enticing.
The Arrival adds three more available achievements that will add 100 more points to your gamerscore if you choose to go after them:
• Complete the DLC
• Survive five waves
• Rescue someone without drawing any attention
The second hardest part is trying to get through the first part of the mission without being seen. Sure you can be seen and kill the guards but if you want the achievement you need to be a ninja. The beginning for me was a bit boring. Even trying to sneak around the guards, I was yawning while playing this part. Things start to kick up during the rescue and once you come face to face to an artifact. This said artifact shows Shepard the future and that’s where the twist kicks in. The DLC goes 360 and Shepard must now fight to stay alive and to slow down the arrival of the Reapers. Of course in doing so a huge sacrifice must take place.
This DLC is worth the buy as it gives an insight to Mass Effect 3 and once again shows that Shepard must make those hard choices for the greater good. Having to get through this mission alone is a nice change to the gameplay of Mass Effect 2 but besides that, it is the same game that we know and love.
Saving...

Hmmm…Probably gonna pick this up
I acquired a employed duplicate of Mass Impact 2 for Xbox 360 and all of the dlc but i have trried to down load Arrival, Shadow Broker, and the other massive dlc (cant keep in mind the name) but its not showing up in the recreation like every thing else. Can an individual inform whats heading on?
I want to set this video game code dlc for another xbox. If I, say, deleted it; could I redeem the code again on yet another xbox or no.
