William: Playing FireFall and it’s amazing. I also started Legend of Dragoon until I found out that I LOST MY PS1 MEMORY CARDS. /cry

Mass Effect 3: Resurgence Pack has drowned out some of my time. New classes and maps are pretty cool, and I’m finally getting in to doing Gold Challenges.

That’s about it… [...]

Star Wars: The Old Republic – An RPG veteran and MMO novice's impressions

I have a confession to make. I love Star Wars. I really do. I was raised on the original Trilogy. I wore out my VHS copies of them. I saw the special edition in theater. I saw the Prequels in theater. When I was a kid, every stick in the yard became a lightsaber for me and my friends to fight with. The movie Fanboys has essentially been my life (except I’ve never been to Vegas).  I love Star Wars.

William: Been trying out some demos; Scarygirl, Amalur, and I’ve gotten Amy, which I’m thinking of writing something about… haven’t cracked in to that one, but it seemed to have a neat premise that I hear wasn’t executed super well…. we shall see!

Greg: Just a bit of The Old Republic. Got sick so [...]

Star Wars The Old Republic: New Trailer and Information

Straight out of the New York Comic Con, comes the newest trailer for Bioware’s MMO, SWTOR, along with some confirmed information. With a world wide release date of December 20, SWTOR will offer a fully voiced cast and months (if not years) worth of content.

It has also been offically announced that your character’s appearance will change depending on their alignment. If, however, you choose to change your alignment, you can do so by doing certain missions. Only severe lightside and darkside points will shape your overall appearance and will not have an affect on your skills.

Three PvP warzones have been named, where players can fight each other and take part [...]

Star Wars The Old Republic Release Date Still a Mystery

With so many videos, screenshots and information coming out about Bioware’s MMO, one would think the release date would be around the corner. Of course this is Bioware we’re talking about and they want to make sure that everything will be perfect. There is now a possibility that the release date for The Old Republic might be pushed until 2012.

“We did hold out a slight possibility that it could slip to our March quarter. And the factors that would cause a slip is, for example, us not being completely satisfied with the scalability testing, and wanting to tune it for several extra weeks.” – Eric Brown, EA CFO

“Just as [Eric Brown] didn’t promise that [...]
