We’ve been playing some of the Naval War: Arctic Circle beta recently, the latest RTS from Paradox Interactive and Turbo Tape Games, and have been enjoying the game’s hardcore approach. Wargames seem to skip over the years 1975-1985 as if nothing happened. Developer Eugen Systems, most known for their work on R.U.S.E, is looking to venture into that Cold War-esque time period with Wargame: European Escalation, their upcoming PC real time strategy title that explores the “what could have been” between NATO and the Warsaw Pact.
Wargame: Eurpean Escalation promises intense real-time battles, stunning graphics, as well as an IRISZOOM system that allows the player to continuously zoom from a global map view straight into the fray.
The game is set to be released November 22nd.
