Civilization V Demo Delayed

Many gamers have been waiting to try out Civ V before the game hits computers on September 21st. Unfortunately that demo has been delayed. Straight from their website it is said that they were unable to finalize the demo before a certain date and therefore will be unable to release the demo of Civ V until September 21st. That’s right, the demo will release on the same day the full game is released.

The good news is that those who are still unsure about picking up this title will still be able to demo it. The bad news is that the demo is out on day one of release.

Medal of Honor Will Continue the Show Despite Controversy

In last decade, video games related to war have never been as close associated as it is now with EA’s latest Medal of Honor: Frontline. In recent months the British Government has been upset over some on the content in the upcoming release.

But EA Games president Frank Gibeau isn’t sweating the bad press.

Gibeau is of the mind that the collaboration between EA and the US Military and Congressional Medal of Honor Society is what will win people over in the end, not just because of the accurate depiction of the ongoing conflict, but because it has allowed EA to produce “the best story for the game.”

“We respect the media’s [...]

Dragon Age 2 Trailer and Release Date

Bioware has just released a trailer for Dragon Age 2 and a release date of March 8th, 2011. Dragon Age 2 will be released on PC, XB360 and Ps3.

Unlike the first installment, you do not create your race but you can create your class. You start off as Hawke, be it male or female, a human that has survived and is the champion of Kirkwall.

The video shows a male Hawke fighting what looks to be an evolved Darkspawn.

Fable III Opening Sequence

The opening cinematic for Fable III has been released. This game is set to be released this October on the 26th for the PC and XB360. It’s set to use features from XB360’s Kinect but personally, I could do without that feature and care more about the story.

[pro-player]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHB6P8IKi9Y[/pro-player]

From the trailer, it insists that your hero will require help to get through his/her trails and missions that will be faced within the game.

Update: Dragon Age Origins: Golems of Amgarrak DLC

I’ve noticed a trend between Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age: Origins. When one announces a DLC the other game is sure to follow. Shortly after Mass Effect 2’s announcement we now have a new Dragon Age Origins DLC called Golems of Amgarrak.

During Comic-Con, Bioware gave PC gamers a little gift, the up-coming DLC.

This DLC is rumored to be harder than any of the other DLC so far and to be a bit more challenging. Even though it’s the same battle system a new story to an already great game is always refreshing.

Check out Joystiq to read up on someone who had a taste of this DLC.

From Bioware’s website, this new DLC will cost $5.00 and [...]

Starcraft 2 Might Sell 2 Million in One Week

With little over thirty minutes until the US launch of Starcraft 2, VGChartz is predicting that Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty will sell 2 million within a week’s time. Not too shabby since this sequel took twelve years to finally release.

It will be interesting to see what the final numbers will be for this game. The regular edition is priced at $60 while the hard to get collector’s edition is set at $100.
