That’s right; one of the most requested enemies of all time has finally made it into a God of War game. And the guys over at Sony Santa Monica even managed to incorporate a multiplayer feature for God of War: Ascension.

PlayStation Smash Bros could be a Reality

Rumours are building about the existence of a new PlayStation-branded crossover fighter after website PlayStation Lifestyle recently discovered a rather ominous looking domain registration. The domain is titled “playstationallstarsbattleroyale.com” and is apparently attributed to the following:

Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC 919 E Hillsdale Blvd Foster City, CA 94404 US

Earlier rumours about the fighter surfaced last November when an image of Sweet Tooth emerged from a supposedly in development game called ‘Title Fight’, whereas recent rumbling are pointing towards Geoff Keighley’s latest teases about a “Huge, new PS3 [...]

Could This Be Our First Look at God of War IV?

So here we are looking at the latest Sony teaser for the upcoming season of their reality show, The Tester, and it’s giving us an inside look at one of their most successful studios, Santa Monica Studios. Looking a little closer at one of the devs at work and we can see a familiar face, Kratos, and an unfamiliar level being worked on.

Now this could mean one of several things, but being the observant optimists that we are, we’ll go ahead and call it – God of War IV.

The unconfirmed sequel in the franchise has been subject to a plethora of rumors and this may be just another shred of evidence to shed light on Kratos’s future.

God of War IV All But Confirmed

Sony is not very good at keeping secrets. We all know that a new God of War game is on the horizon and the latest bout of over-zealous CV flaunting has all but confirmed it. Composer Timothy Williams recently cited “God of War IV” on his resume, referring to the game as “upcoming”. This isn’t the first time the game’s existence has been rumored, with UK PlayStation magazine PSM3 previously hinting at a September 2012 release date.

The latest bout of speculation only backs up logical assumptions relating to a new title in the series, especially considering the fact that most of Sony’s AAA franchises run on a two year cycle and God of [...]

Mortal Kombat PS3 Box Art Appears With Kratos On It

Sony has given the latest edition of Mortal Kombat the treatment with exclusive content for its version of the game.

In clear printing at the top of the cover box art. Sony has made sure people know Kratos is available, “Only on PlayStation,” with, ”Exclusive Content” clearly being marked across the top of the box, just to be sure people didn’t understand what that meant (or parents for that matter).

Mortal Kombat is releasing this April for PS3 and Xbox 360.

New God of War 3 Screens

A few new screenshots of God of War III were released today (January 25, 2010). They show Kratos doing what he does best – killing gods. Kratos is responsible for Killing Ares and Athena and now he’s set his sights on Hades.

My only question is when Kratos kills Hades (and we know he will) where does Hades’ soul go?

God of War III will be released in North America released March 16, 2010 on the PS3.
