E3: Medal of Honor Warfighter Amazes All

Are you as excited as I am for the new Medal of Honor Warfighter title? Because you’re answer is yes, I’ll continue with detailing the juicy new video they previewed at their E3 event (Hint: it was amazingly awesome).

The video was dissected into a few parts. The first part showed some grueling new gameplay from the new single player campaign completely powered by the Frostbite 2 engine. The sound was top notch and the physics were as impressive as ever. New elements were also revealed, showing that the player now hove control over how he or she breaches and clears a room. New toys shown off came in the form as a laser guided missile-type system and a Wall-e-type [...]

If we’re playing it, we’ll share it. Please feel free to comment with what you’re playing or your opinions on the games that we’re involved with.

William: Playing FireFall and it’s amazing. I also started Legend of Dragoon until I found out that I LOST MY PS1 MEMORY CARDS. /cry

Mass Effect 3: Resurgence Pack has drowned out some of my time. New classes and maps are pretty cool, and I’m finally getting in to doing Gold Challenges.

That’s about it… [...]

Luis: Recently I’ve been getting a bit of Battlefield 3 in, post patch that just came out. It has a few good improvements to nerfing certain OP weapons and attachments and such. Also FINALLY picked up Deus Ex. Found it for a good price and couldn’t pass it up.

Jason: Friends who are playing World of Warcraft got me to [...]

The Game Fanatics' Favorite Video Game Soundtracks

Video game soundtracks. One of the many great factors that contribute to the mood and feelings that games create and make us feel. Skyrim wouldn’t be as epic without it, Battlefield 3 wouldn’t be as bad ass without one, that old school vintage feel wouldn’t have been possible in a game like Bioshock, and fear wouldn’t be a factor in a game like Silent Hill.

We all love games, that’s why were here, but right now we want to take a moment to list off our favorite soundtracks in video games. From the cast here at The Game Fanatics to you, our readers.

At the end of this post there will be links to youtube videos of one or two of the soundtracks each [...]

Medal of Honor: Warfighter Debut Trailer Confirms October Release Date

EA has just recently released the debut trailer for Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Anyone who pre-orders the title will get upgraded to the Limited Edition at no extra cost. Now all that’s left is for them to announce what we get with that pre-order exactly. Seeing as how it’s a game being published by EA it’ll probably feature extra maps and or weapons just like Battlefield 3 did with their Limited Edition.

The game is being developed by Danger Close Games and will feature the use of the incredibly powerful Frostbite 2 engine developed by DICE. So it comes to no surprise that the team helping develop the game are veterans of the industry who are well versed in [...]

EA Suspends Development on Battlefield 3: Aftershock

Not to long ago EA pulled Battlefield 3: Aftershock from the iOS app store after many gamers made complaints over the gameplay and overall quality of the game. Fans of the game were led to believe that EA would re-make the game and then re release it in a better state. As it turns out EA was looking to make the game better but they have just confirmed that they will be suspending development on the mobile title. A statement was released by the company explaining their decision.

“In the interest of bringing consumers only the highest level of quality mobile entertainment, EA Mobile has decided to suspend development and support of Battlefield 3: Aftershock and refocus its [...]

William: Finished Mass Effect 2. Played more League of Legends. Now that ME is out of the way, I’m going to get back in to Beyond Good and Evil. I’m also looking in to starting Legend of Dragoon, but Beyond Good and Evil -should- be enough to fill my console time. Also considering getting Gotham City Impostors. Played it at E3 [...]
