Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is, on the surface, not much different than the games preceding it. You smash, collect and build, just as before, but the operative word this time is character.
At SDCC this weekend Warner Bros. shared a new Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham trailer with us. It shows the game well, demonstrating both the same art style and sense of humor that we’ve all come to know and love from the Lego games.
Ever since The Lego Movie became a box office hit, the Lego’s video game series have taken note to the high-end showmanship and creativity that made the flick such a likeable and all-around joy to experience.
Batman: Arkham Knight drummed up a lot of hype and anticipation after its E3 game play demo. There were a lot of information and important reveals throughout that kept people on the edge of their seat. But perhaps the biggest reveal came not in an official capacity but in a probable slip of the tongue.
